Live Discussion on Issues of Narcissistic Abuse

Live Discussion on Narcissistic AbuseKaleah LaRoche, author of “Spiritual Recovery from Narcissistic Abuse” is hosting a live discussion group addressing the issues of narcissistic abuse and obstacles to recovery. Those registering for the call will have the opportunity to participate actively and ask questions pertaining to their own issues.

Kaleah has scheduled this live discussion as a test call to determine the potential for a live discussion forum to be more effective in assisting those recovering from narcissistic abuse than the typical Online support forums. “I feel there is a great need for a live support group addressing the issues of narcissistic abuse” says Kaleah. “This type of abuse is widespread throughout the world and there doesn’t seem to be a lot of avenues of support available for people struggling to find their way through it.”

Although Kaleah’s methods of recovery are spiritual in nature they are not to be mistaken for religious. She uses the term spiritual to mean “beyond the physical, mental and emotional.” It is Kaleah’s belief that the spirit is the most effected through this kind of abuse and action must be taken to recover the soul and restore the spirit.

In her upcoming call Kaleah will be looking at the most common obstacles to recovery, what people are struggling most with and how to get beyond them. She discourages story telling and using this call as an avenue to vent. Kaleah feels the focus needs to be on oneself and moving beyond addictions and obsessions with the narcissist in ones life.

Having been a member of many narcissism support forums Kaleah has witnessed how these boards are frequently used to vent and talk about what the narcissist has done to them this time. “Although initially telling your story is necessary there comes a time we must move beyond our stories” says Kaleah “and stop giving the past our energy. Instead we must focus forward in our lives and begin creating a new story, one that is empowering.”

My focus is not on the narcissism! It is on breaking free from the energetic connections that keep us disempowered and moving forward in our lives. This is where true recovery happens.”

Kaleah encourages those who are interested in true recovery to join her on the call next Tuesday, May 8th at 9pm EST.
